With Christmas coming up, we all tend to get in a bit of a frenzy trying to pick out that perfect gift for those we love. Thankfully, we have this beautiful creation called the internet that provides us with thousands upon thousands of resources when you find yourself stuck in that spot.

Hopefully this guide will help get you unstuck and find the perfect gift for that adventure seeker in your life.

1. Hammock

Whether in a tropical paradise or deep in the wilderness, there’s no better way to relax than kicking your feet up in a hammock. Check out my favorite brand here.

2. Headlamp

As someone who has been on outdoor trips with no headlamp (from losing them every five seconds), I can tell you this is a necessity in the backcountry. Buy here.

3. Gopro

My gopro is very very high on my list of favorite things that I own. Not only is it extremely portable and compact, it is very durable and catches by far some of the greatest adventure shots. For the price, this is one of the greatest adventure cameras out there! Check them out here.

4. Backpack

With thousands of different options, buying your adventurer a great backpack to take on their adventures is a great idea! From day packs to overnight packs to camelbacks, you almost can’t go wrong! Check out some o he best on the market here.

5. Solar Charger

Oddly enough, there are no outlets out in the woods! Thankfully, we have this giant ball of fire and gas in the sky that provides us with power if we know how to utilize it. Get your adventurer a solar charger so they can keep their phone, camera, or fairy lights charged and ready to go! Buy one here.

6. Camelback

You don’t realize how much you need a camelback until you’ve used one. When hiking, it can be a pain in the behind to have to make your group stop, unhook all your straps, fish your water bottle out of your pack, get hydrated, put it back, rehook all your straps, then be on your way. Hydration bladders make that process about 4,653,286 times easier! Check them out here.

7. First Aid Kit

Having a first aid kit is so so so important and I truly believe every single person should carry one with them at all times. Life is unpredictable and things happen sometimes. Always be prepared with these kits!

8. Hiking Boots

The right pair of hiking boots can instantly change your experience in nature. My personal favorite brand is Keen, but there are dozens of others that do just as well. Check them out here.

9. Dry Bag

If going out on trips on the water or in the snow or even if there’s a small possibility of rain, a dry bag can save your life out in the backcountry. Keeping your electronics, maps, and a few items of clothing dry can instantly change your experience if everything else got wet. Buy them here.

10. Puffy

Growing up in the south, I never had much need for winter clothes, but moving to the mountains changed that very quickly. A puffy is that layer that’s perfect for a chilly night by the fire or an early morning before the sun rises or that under layer when you’re getting into winter temperatures. Puffys are extremely lightweight and packable. They are an amazing investment and you can search through them here.

11. Tent

All adventurers need a good tent. They’re basically your second home (unless you’re a full time traveler, then they’re basically your actual home!), so it’s super important to get a good quality tent. I have an REI Half Dome 2+ that I absolutely love. But check out other sizes and designs here.

12. Camp Stove

The best stove when out backpacking is a Pocket Rocket, which is a champion at boiling water. You can buy one here.

However, if your adventurer is more into car camping, and size and weight aren’t as much of an issue, one-burner or two-burner stoves are the best option. I learned on my road trip that when cooking every single meal, only being able to boil water isn’t the most efficient, so I invested in a Coleman and it changed my life!

13. Multi-tool

Being out in the woods, having a pocket knife or other tools can be extremely handy. You never know what uses you can make out of one when you’re using anything to be resourceful. Buy the one I use here.

14. Portable Speaker

Now I’m definitely more of a listen-to-nature kind of person when I’m out camping or hiking. But, there are times when music can definitely enhance your outdoor experience. This JBL Clip speaker is perfect for hanging on the hammock, tent, or a nearby tree.

15. Water Bottle

With plastic being the leading contributor to pollution in our planet, why not try to reduce the amount being produced? Staying hydrated while adventuring is extremely important and can be done in very sustainable ways. Click here to check out all the best reusable water bottles. My personal favorite brand is Nalgene.

16. Travel Coffee Press

This one is for the caffeine-aholic adventurers in your life. The AeroPress travel coffee press is the best way to make yourself a nice cup-a-joe while hanging out at the campsite or on a 30 mile backpacking route. Get it here.

17. Camp Coffee Mug

And what better way to enjoy your campfire coffee than with a backpacker mug that will keep it nice and toasty. Buy them here.

18. Chacos

Hands down, chacos are the single greatest pair of shoes I’ve ever owned. Basically every adventurer ever will tell you how amazing these shoes are and why you should invest in them. They are great for adventures, casual strolls, hiking, or just easy slip on sandals. Check out the latest styles here.

19. Kula Cloth

This is one is for the ladies! The Kula Cloth is something that I have not owned yet, but am definitely hoping to buy soon. If your adventurer is trying to move towards living a more sustainable life, this is a great product. It is basically a reusable antimicrobial pee rag. Instead of packing in and packing out your toilet paper, this rag takes the place of that. Buy them here!

20. Inflatable Lounger

How great would it be to have a portable couch/bean bag chair/lounger wherever you go?! These inflatable loungers are surprisingly so comfortable, durable and so fun to inflate! Get yours here.

21. America the Beautiful Annual Pass

Some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen are scattered all over the US in our 62 national parks and over 300 other national recreation areas. With entrance fees of most parks being between $25-$30, spending the $80 on the annual pass absolutely makes the most sense if you’ll be going to 2 or more parks in the span of the year! Buy yours here.

22. National Parks Passport

And while using your National Parks annual pass, what better way to record all those memories than with a national parks passport?! This is a great way to learn about all the parks and document your favorite memories! Buy it here.

23. Scratch Off Map

When your adventurer is finally settled down after years of adventuring, what better way to remember all the places they’ve gone than a scratch off map of the world?! Check out all the latest designs here.

24. Wanderlust Tapestry

Another great way to reminisce on previous adventures and dream about new ones is to have adventure or travel inspired art to look at every day. Tapestries are great ways to cover lots of wall space and make a room feel much more homey. Check out some cool ones here.
